We Did It, Now What?

The final pledge came in just before midnight on August 30th. The Jesus Story has 823 backers who pledged $63,461. Thanks for partnering with me.

Check out the site and let me know what you think. I'll be tweaking the offerings over the next few weeks. If you have ideas to improve it, let me know.
Last Friday I received the book layout from the design team and made a few corrections and changes and returned it. I just received it back for a final look. If everything is good to go, I'll send it to the printer. Once there it should be around six weeks before it's printed. Did you notice I used the words "hope" and "should?" I'm doing all I can to get The Jesus Story to us for Christmas. Pray all the "hopes"and "shoulds" work in our favor.

The Final Hour!

It's 11 PM. here in Portland and I see the finish line just ahead. One more hour, 60 minutes, and this amazing campaign will come to a close. Thanks for making it so much fun all the way to the end. I wonder what will happen in the last hour. We're at 818 backers. I hope we break 820.

100 MINUTES TO GO!

Okay, I don't know if you're reading these updates but since I'm thanking all the new backers I figured I'd give you an update. 100 minutes to go and we have 812 backers. And to think earlier tonight I hoped for 800. And we just passed $63,000 in pledges. The more pledges the more copies I can print. I've got an idea which I'll share with you after the KS campaign. Anyway . . . let's pray the Lord fill our nets in the final 100 minutes.

Way to go! We just passed 800 backers and we've got three hours to go? You did it. Seriously. Some of you sent the link to a friend who needed to be reminded them time was about out on this project. You inspired me. I'm going to send one more email after I post this.
